David co-founded Featurespace in 2005 based on his research at Cambridge University into automated methods of understanding human behaviour. These ideas have become the cornerstone of Featurespace technologies. David has over twelve years experience working in research commercialisation and software development. He developed the automated agency accounting system for the ACTTAB, worked with Farmwide and the National Farmers' Federation to educate and deliver high speed internet to rural communities and researched the commercialisation of surround sound systems with National Information Communication Technology Australia Ltd. David has been awarded over 10 prizes and scholarships for his academic achievements.

David co-founded Featurespace in 2005 with Bill Fitzgerald.

BILL FITZGERALD
CHAIRMAN, NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Bill is the Professor of Applied Statistics and Signal Processing in the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. His work centres on Bayesian inference applied to signal and data modelling. He is also interested in nonlinear signal processing, image restoration and medical imaging, extreme value statistics, bio-informatics, data mining and data classification. A large part of his work involves change and anomaly detection with applications to security and fraud. He is a Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge.

MIKE LYNCH
NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dr Mike Lynch, OBE, studied Engineering at Cambridge University and obtained a PhD in mathematical computing. He is a technology entrepreneur and is a pioneer of the 'Meaning-Based Computing' movement. Mike has founded a number of technology companies, including Autonomy, where he currently serves as CEO. He has held a number of advisory and board roles in the venture capital industry and is currently a non-executive director of the BBC. He was named the Confederation of British Industry's Entrepreneur of the Year, won an IEE Award for Outstanding Achievement and was awarded an OBE for Services to Enterprise. Mike is a Lady Margaret Beaufort Fellow of Christ's College, Cambridge, and the author of a number of academic papers.

Mike joined the Featurespace board in March 2008.
